Formula Drive...Cut off day!

To make sure that everyone gets their items by Christmas, I will stop taking orders for the Abbey Project this coming Monday December 5th. All proceeds from this Holiday season's sales will be going towards purchasing formula for an orphanage in Ethiopia. If you aren't interested in a hat but are interested in helping...you can purchase formula from Walmart (Parent's Choice) and drop it by Shane VanDalen's New York Life Office (517 Liberty Street) from 9 to 5 M-F, until December 14th. My Wonderful Sister in-law Melissa VanDalen will be heading to Ethiopia at the end of the month and has room for 100lbs!! Let's feed some babies!!!

The Abbey Project shows some love to Rebound of Whatcom County

Today The Abbey Project donated $500.00 to support Rebound of Whatcom County.

Rebound exists to bring hope and healing to kids and families whose childhoods have been tainted by abuse, poverty and neglect. Manos Extendidas Church Nursery

The church of Manos Extendidas is located in Comayaguela, Honduras, which is one of the poorest parts of the capital city (Tegucigalpa). We have approximately 120 church members, with 30-35 children under the age of 10. Included in that number are about 10 babies, aging from birth to 2 years.  And new babies are being born all the time! Because of a lack of funds, the church has been unable to provide a nursery for these babies. All we have now is a room with some dirty mattresses that the babies get changed on, sleep on, and play on.

But because of the donation from The Abbey Project, we have been able to get the ball rolling on our church nursery. Thank you to The Abbey Project for your contribution to our much needed nursery. These babies will definitely be blessed!
